❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to the most common questions about Code Club – for schools, coordinators, and students.

Security & Access

Why am I seeing a message like "Access Denied" or "IP Blocked"?

Our system automatically monitors login activity to protect your account and school data. If there are multiple failed login attempts from a particular connection, or if we detect access from a known proxy or VPN service, the system may temporarily restrict access from that location. This is a standard security measure to prevent unauthorised access.

How can I avoid being locked out?

Always use your correct email and password. If you have forgotten your password, use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page to reset it immediately – do not keep guessing. For the best experience, access the platform through your normal internet connection (mobile data or office Wi‑Fi) rather than via a VPN, proxy, or a public/shared network.

I am locked out and cannot log in – what should I do?

If you are locked out, do not panic. You can contact your school administrator or coordinator directly, or reach out to our support team via email at support@edutek.com.ng. Please provide your full name, email address, and school name – we will verify your identity and restore your access as soon as possible.

If you are already logged in (or can log in later), you can also use the Messages section on your dashboard to send a direct message to the Super Admin. Our team will reply within 24 hours (often sooner).

Can I use a VPN or a proxy to access the platform?

We do not recommend using VPNs or proxy services to access the platform, as they may trigger our security systems and cause temporary access restrictions. For reliable access, please use your regular internet connection.

🔑 Important: School Admin Login Details

Schools should ensure they obtain their school admin login details from their assigned coordinator. The school admin dashboard is where you can track student payments, including the ₦1,000 platform access fee remitted by your coordinator to Edutek Communication Nigeria Hub Limited. This ensures full transparency and accountability for all financial transactions on the platform.

If you haven't received your login details, please contact your coordinator immediately.

⚖️ School Account Termination Policy

To ensure fairness and accountability, schools are also held to high standards.

If a coordinator submits a serious negative report about a school by the end of a term, the school's account may face automatic termination — depending on the gravity of the report and after a thorough investigation through our Legal Department.

This policy exists to maintain a balanced and fair ecosystem — just as schools can file disputes against coordinators, coordinators can also report schools. All reports are investigated fairly and transparently.

📌 Note: Termination is not automatic based solely on a report. Every report goes through a full investigation by our Legal Department before any action is taken against a school.
